Obituary for LeRoy Adams
Mr. LeRoy Adams, age 58, 1304 N. Lee, Altus, died November 23, 1976 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, OK.
Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Friday, Assembly of God Church, with the Reverend Carl McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Altus City Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Home.
He was born March 19th, 1918 at Royce City, Texas and he was married to the former Aretta May Travis in 1926 in Jackson County. Mr. Adams had worked for the City for 28 years before he retired. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Aretta, of the home; two sons, Jerry R. and Roy W. Adams, both of Altus; one daughter, Mildred Milligan of Oklahoma City; three brothers, W. L. Adams, Jr. of Altus, S. R. Adams of Yakima, WA, and Fred L. Adams of Beeville, Texas; two sisters, Helen R. Young and Doris Allen, both of Altus; six grandchildren.
