Obituary for Lee Isaac Hayes
Mr. Lee Isaac Hayes, age 68, died Friday morning at Jackson County Memorial Hospital of an apparent heart attack suffered at his residence 521 West Walker.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Monday afternoon at Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by the Reverend James Mahan. Burial will be in Altus City Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born December 29th, 1908 in Green County, Indiana, he was married at Bowling Green, Ohio in 1930 to the former Doris Bauder DeRemer, who survives of the home. He had lived in Altus since 1975 and was a retired Dairy Store Manager and a Hospital & Security Supervisor.

Additional survivors include: two sons, Chuck Hayes of Altus and Terry Hayes of Red Creek, NY;
one daughter, Mrs. Betty Evans of Minneapolis, MN; one brother, Mr. Charles Hayes of Tuscon, AZ; one sister, Mrs. Doris Landry of South Bend, IN; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
