Obituary for Lee Opal Little
Lee Opal Little, 87, of Denton, Texas, formerly of Altus passed away Monday, February 24, 2008 at Senior Care of Denton. She was born April 23, 1920 in Atoka Co., to Joseph Elliott Walker and Flora Etta Wilson Walker. She married James C. Little on December 4, 1937 in Frederick, OK. He preceded her in death. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star of Oklahoma and Denton Church of Christ. Lee moved to Altus, OK with her family as an infant and lived most of her life there until moving to Denton, Texas in 1968.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Denton in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Terry Collins officiating. Burial will be Saturday, March 1, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus.
She is survived by son, Jimmy e. Little and wife Theresa of Denton; granddaughter, Jennifer Deal and husband Robert of Denton, Becky Morales and husband Jamie of The Colony, Texas, Kim Malone and her husband Joey of Sanger, Texas; great-grandchildren, Russell and Mitchell Deal, Joshua, Megan and Aubrey Malone, Ashlee and Zachary Morales; niece, Lila Shadid and nephew W.G. Walker, both of Altus and other extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Gardner Walker, Ollie Walker and Arlie Walker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tipton Children's Home, Tipton, OK or Cherokee Children's Home of Cherokee, Texas.
