Lee Roy Eccles age 78 of Duke, Oklahoma passed away March 21, 1965 at his home in Duke. He was born June 24, 1886 in Pleasant Point, Texas to James and Mary (Penn) Eccles. Lee Roy came to southwest Oklahoma in 1887. He was a farmer most of his life. He married Beulah Combs November26, 1911 in Duke, Oklahoma.

Funeral services for Lee Roy Eccles are scheduled for March 28, 1965 at 3.30 pm Sunday, March 28, 1965 in the Tims Chapel officiated by Rev. Elbert Shuemaker. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home..

Roy Lee Eccles is survived by his wife, Beulah of the home in Duke, Oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. E.E. Riddle, of Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs. Lola Riddle, Mt. Park, Oklahoma; one son Raymond Lee Eccles, Ft. Worth, Texas; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
