Leona Aronhalt was born September 23rd, 1916 in Madill, Oklahoma to Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Meeks and passed from this earth March 22nd, 1971 at the age of 54 years 6 months and 6 days, Leona was married to Tinsley C. Aronhalt in Madill, Oklahoma in 1933. He preceded her in death in May of 1959. She is survived by two daughters: Dorothy M. Harris of Altus and Ruth Heleins of Waurika, her parents, Mr & Mrs. G. W. Meeks of Frederick, eight grandchildren, one sister: Elsie Adams of Frederick and four brothers Sanford Meeks, Troy Meeks and Bud Meeks all of Chickasha.

Services for Leona Aronhalt are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 23rd, 1971 at the Tims Chapel of Memories with Bro. Truman Teel officiating. Interment will follow at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
