Leonard Earl Ferris, age 21, of Belton, Texas, passed away Thursday, September 21st, 1989, morning at the Scott-White Medical Center at Temple, Texas. Graveside services have been set for Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born August 2, 1968 at Clinton, Oklahoma. He was the son of Charles and Gloria Ferris. He was employed by the Bell County Exposition Center.
Survivors include: his mother and father, Charles and Gloria Ferris of Belton, Texas; a grandmother, Mae Etta Richards of Altus; a grandfather, Floyd Fisher of Altus; five brothers, Sherman Richards of Altus, OK, Charles Ferris, Jr., Louis Ferris, Melvin Ferris, and Reginald Ferris, all of Belton, TX; six sisters, Carol Reeves and Armeta Richards of Belton, TX, Claudell Clark of Temple, Texas, Vanessa Embers of Holland, TX and Marian Ferris and Angie Ferris both of Belton, TX.
