Obituary for Leonard John Schlaff
Mr. Leonard John Schlaff, age 59, of 2008 Taft, died on May 18, 1977 at the Altus AFB Hospital.
Funeral services have been set for 10:00 A.M., Monday at the Lowell Memorial Chapel in Altus, OK. Reverend Vincent Nicita and Reverend Thomas Darnell officiated the service. Mr. Schlaff was buried in the National Cemetery at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas. Local arrangements were with Lowell Funeral Home.
Survivors include: his wife, Marjorie "Jones" Schlaff of the home; one son, James Leonard Schlaff of San Antonio, TX; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Venetz of Vancouver, B.C., Canada and Mrs. Mary Shaneyfelt of Sheppard AFB, TX; two half-brothers, Bob Tishler of Allenpark, MI and Tom Tishler of Dearborn, MI; two half-sisters, Mrs. Geraldine Durante of Springhill, FL and Mrs. Bernardine Weimer of Livonia, MI; four grandsons; four grandaughters; three step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren.
