Obituary for Leonda Lou Jobe
Memorial services for Leonda Lou Jobe are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28th, 1998 at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel. Ira D. Hill will officiate. Leonda passed away March 21st, 1998 in Altus at the age of 57. Leonda was born September 1st, 1940 in Jackson County to Leon and Bonnie (Ruckman) Qualls.
After leaving Altus High School, Leonda married and had three children, Rebeckah Ann Baerg and husband John and daughter Nicole of Las Vegas, NV, Nancy Herzberg with husband John, son Matthew and daughter Lisa, all of Phoenix, AZ, Tonja Jobe of Vernon, TX. Tonya has two sons, Michael of Oklahoma City and Manuel of Austin, TX. Leonda is also survived by her mother Bonnie Steed and step-father Jerry Steed, both of Altus. A sister Vonda Leedy of Mangum and a brother Leon Qualls, Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, a memorial be made to JCMH Hospice in Altus in Leonda Jobes name. Lowell Tims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
It was Leonda's wish to express her love and appreciation to all her family and friends. May God bless and keep you until we meet again.
