Obituary for Lewis Earl Stanton
Lewis Earl Stanton age 80, of Altus, Oklahoma died March 5, 1969 in Altus. He was born April 29, 1888 in Grant City Missouri to W. E. and Phoebee Jane (Phillips) Stanton. He married Annie Glenn Martin November 16, 1929 in Altus, Oklahoma. He was a veteran of World War I and member of the American Legion and Lions Club. He was a retired from the drug store.

Funeral services for Lewis Earl Stanton are scheduled for March 7, 1969 at 2:00pm in the Methodist Church, Altus, officiated by Rev. Lonzo Battles. Burial will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Lewis Earl Stanton is survived by his wife Annie of the home; one daughter Mrs. Edward Burgess Jr., Powners Grove, Illinois; two sisters, Mrs. P. C. Conn, California; Mrs. Beigh Black, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
