Obituary for Lewis Ray Lewelling
Funeral services have been set for Mr. Lewis Ray Lewelling, age 44, of Route #3, Altus. Mr. Lewelling died Tuesday in the Medical Research Center, University Hospital, Oklahoma City, of cancer. He was formerly employed by Frost Construction Company, retiring last March because of illness.
Survivors include: his wife, the former Viola Crawford of the home; a daughter, Sharon Laverne of Altus; his mother, Mrs. Cora Lewelling of Altus; one brother, J.E. Lewelling of Fredrick; four sisters, Mrs. Opal Barker of Casa Grande, AZ, Mrs. Linel Brinkman of Headrick, Mrs. Maxine Plake and Mrs. Blanche Rawlins, both of Albuquerque, NM.
Services will be Saturday, November 2nd, 2:00 P.M. at the Friendship Baptist Church, officiated by the Reverend Madison Clinton. Burial will be in the Navajo Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
