Lillie Grace Goodman, 88, resident of Mangum, Oklahoma, passed away on May 6, 2026, in Mangum. She was born on August 17, 1937, in Brinkman, Oklahoma, to Henry and Viola (Crisp) Stowe. Lillie attended school in Brinkman and East View before graduating from Lake Creek High School in 1955, where she was known as a talented basketball player and enjoyed playing for her school team.
Lillie married the love of her life, Jack Goodman, on September 1, 1956, in Mangum, Oklahoma. The two shared 69 wonderful years before Jack passed away on March 18, 2026. Jack and Lillie were blessed with one daughter, Kristie.
Lillie worked throughout the years at Mangum City Hospital, Designs Unlimited Shoe Store, DHS, and the Greer County Guarantee Abstract Office. She also devoted many years to being a loving stay-at-home mom and homemaker. She was a proud member of Trinity Baptist Church and cherished the friendships she made through her bowling leagues, Thursday night card group, and enjoyed working with Mangum High School Class of 1984.
Lillie enjoyed taking trips to Branson, attending her grandchildren’s livestock shows, and spending time with her family. She especially loved snacking on Fritos and Hershey’s chocolate and treasured every moment spent playing with her great-grandchildren. Lillie will be remembered for her kindness, her love for family, and the joy she brought to those around her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Goodman; her parents, Henry and Viola Stowe; brothers, Henry Stowe and Othal Stowe; and sister, Edna Stowe.
Left to honor her loving memory are her daughter, Kristie Clark and husband Butch; sister, Wanda Thompson and husband Kenny; sister-in-law, Lucille Stowe; grandson, Jacob Clark; granddaughter, Halie Clark; great-grandchildren, Westin and Emalynn Clark; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
