Obituary for Lina Lee Fellers
Lina Lee Fellers, age 91, passed away July 31, 2004 in Altus, Oklahoma. She was born October 15, 1912. She was the daughter of the late Herbert Lee and Ruth Emma (Harper) McVay.
She married Herman Lee Fellers on January 9, 1955 in Altus and Herman preceded her in death October 21, 1977. Lina Lee worked for Arkansas Louisiana Gas Company for over 40 years before retiring. She was a life-long resident of Altus and Jackson County. She attended Altus Junior College and Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha. She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Altus.
She is survived by two nephews, Michael L. McVay of Seven Lakes, North Carolina and Donald C. McVay of York, Pennsylvania.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother, Donald R. McVay.
Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, August 7, 2004 at 9:30 a.m. at the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
