Obituary for Linda Diane Owens
Linda Diane "Little Nanny" Owens, 82, Hollis, Oklahoma, passed away on June 12, 2025, at the Colonial Manor II Nursing Home.
Diane was the daughter of Guy and Juanita Owens, both of Wellington, Texas. She was an X-Ray Tech at the Harmon Memorial Hospital and a much-loved teacher's aide in the Hollis Public School system. Diane was always an outspoken lady. She would tell you like it was but love you in the same sentence. She will always be remembered for her constant matching outfits, her love of large jewelry, and of course, her cheetah print. She loved being a grandmother and a great grandmother. Her grandkids were her world. If you could not find Diane out and about on a Sunday, she would be at home in her chair watching NASCAR or yelling at the television about a football game not going the way she wanted.
Diane is survived by her daughter, Keverly Kent, and her grandson, Wesley Kent, both of Hollis; and all her extended family. She will be greatly missed by everyone that came in contact with her during her life. The family would like to send out hugs and love to the staff at the Wellington Care Center and Colonial Manor II, as well as, Donna Hudspeth, for all their help in Diane's final days.
A Celebration of Diane's Life will be held at a later date. Local arrangements and cremation are under the care of the Harmon County Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the Harmon County Funeral Home, Hollis, to offset funeral costs.
