TRACHMAN
Linda Trachman, 64, of Altus, passed away late Tuesday evening, April 18, 2017, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital, in Altus.
Mrs. Trachman was born in Minden, Louisiana on July 20, 1952, to Huey P. Long and Mary Louise Woods. A graduate of Woodlawn High School, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Linda moved to Altus in 1977, to be near her mother. On July 6, 1979, Linda married the love of her life, Michael D. Trachman and they spent the next thirty-seven wonderful years together until her untimely death. In 1980, they opened Quality Cleaners, where Linda worked until 2001. For many years, Linda served as the secretary at St. Paul"s Episcopal Church. In her spare time, Linda enjoyed working on crafts and gardening, but most of all she loved being with her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her father, she is survived by her husband, Mike Trachman, of the home; her mother, Mary Hinton, of Altus; four children, Rissa Trachman of Greensboro, North Carolina, Mark Trachman of Houston, Texas, Steven Roppolo of Altus and Brandon Trachman of Oklahoma City; one sister, Melinda Long of Oklahoma City; one brother, Rodney Long and wife Helene, of Lawton; two grandchildren, Kelli Melton and husband Daniel and Sydney Owen; six great grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends.
Memorial services for Linda Trachman will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 22, 2017, at St. Paul"s Episcopal Church with Dean Bill Carroll officiating. Services are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home, of Altus.
