Obituary for Linda Ruth Jenkins
Linda Ruth Jenkins, 71, passed away on December 27, 2020 in Mangum, Oklahoma. She was born on March 29, 1949 to Billy Boyd and Amy (Plumee) Boyd in Mangum, Oklahoma. Linda graduated from Mangum High School in 1967. She married the love of her life, Jackie Jenkins in May of 1969. After the two got married, Linda worked for the Greer County Jail, as a jailer, she genuinely enjoyed her time at the jail. She was known as a friendly woman who never met a stranger. She enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, and spending time with her family.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents.
Left to honor her memory is her loving husband of 52 years, Jackie Jenkins; Sons, Shawn Jenkins of Roosevelt, Oklahoma, Shane Jenkins of Mangum, Oklahoma and Tony Jenkins of Maybank, Texas; Daughter, Shelly Mullens of Mangum; Brother, Herb Boyd of Moore, Oklahoma; Grandchildren, Tyler Jenkins, Cody Jenkins, Pacen Jenkins, Jonathon Cooksey, Tonya Jenkins, Lindsay Jenkins, Heath Mitchell, Jared Mitchell, Elissa Roberts, Halie Mullens, Kyle Mullens, Kylie Mullens, Shacie Mullens, and Ty Mullens; Great- grandchildren, Maddy Mitchell, Wyatt Mitchell, Ellie May Mitchell, Whitley Mitchell, Enslie Johnson, Mason Mitchell, Ryan Mitchell, Blakelee Mitchell and Averi Herrera; As well as numerous extended family members and friends
