Obituary for Lisa Lanell Zepeda
Lisa Lanell Zepeda, resident of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away on October 22, 2021 at age 56.

Lisa was born in Hollis, Ok to her parents, Dewayne Stehr and Sharon Lee Stehr on February 20, 1965. She was raised and educated in Hollis and also attended school in Arnett. Lisa married Jessie Zepeda on December 30 ,1982 at the Church of Christ in Hollis.

Lisa was a fun-loving, happy person who would help anyone in need. She was the backbone of her family, that depended on her and cherished her love and devotion on many levels. Lisa was always the first one to offer help and had a great sense of humor, even in the worst of times. She was an avid fan of OU football and supported the team at every given opportunity. Lisa also loved the beauty of the beach and found the calm, peacefulness of ocean extremely captivating. She made frequent visits to Port Aransas, Texas and other water-front places where she could relax and enjoy having her " toes in the sand, and a cold drink in her hand ".

Lisa was a woman of strong faith and was raised in the Church of Christ. She worked for JN Body Shop as a secretary before she and Jessie started JZ's Body Shop. Lisa brought smiles to everyone she met. Her kindness, sincere heart and genuine concern for others were all traits that were special and evident in her daily interactions with family, friends, coworkers and even strangers. She will be missed deeply by many who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dewayne Stehr; Mother Sharon Lee Stehr, Mother-in- Law, Guadalupe "Lupe" Zepeda, Father in Law, Jessie Zepeda, maternal grandmother - Blanch Lee, an Aunt Twila Reynolds, brother - in -laws, Johnny Hidalgo; and David Hidalgo.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband of thirty-seven years, Jessie Zepeda, daughter: Shara Zepeda of Altus, Oklahoma ; three brothers: Michael Freeman of Clinton, Oklahoma; Larry Stehr of Altus, Oklahoma and Rodney Stehr of Lawton, Oklahoma; a sister-in-law: Rosa Hidalgo of Hollis, Oklahoma; nephews, Ricky Hidalgo of San Antonio, Texas; Michael Hidalgo and his wife Gladys of Menard, Texas, Rodney Reinchmiedt, Jeffrey Reinschmiedt, Nieces, A.J. Sevenstar, Angela Stoddard, Lindsey Ishcomer; cousin by blood sister by heart Crystal Holt, numerous great -nephews, great- nieces and other relatives.
