Obituary for Lloyd G. Thomason
Lloyd G. Thomason, age 75, died Monday, April 27th, 1998 at Clinton Regional Hospital. Funeral Services are set for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, at the First Baptist Church of Eldorado with Rev. Don Ladner and Dr. Dean Goodfellow officiating. Burial will be at the Liberty Cemetery in Southwest Gould, Oklahoma under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.

He was born March 21st, 1923 in Eldorado to George Dewey and Vernie (Wesley) Thomason. He graduated from Louis Hill High School in 1943. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He married Suenita Dee Sparks April 18, 1964 in Eldorado. Thomason farmed in Jackson and Harmon counties and was a custom harvester. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eldorado and served on the Eldorado School Board for several years. He was also a member of the Eldorado Lions Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-mother, Irene Thomason.

Survivors include: his wife, Suenita Thomason of Altus; a daughter and son-in-law, Barry and Teresa Mock of Altus; a son and daughter-in-law Troy and Diana Sorsby of Houston, TX; a son Howard Sorsby of Waterloo, Iowa; a daughter, Rebecca Sorsby of Waller, TX; five grandchildren, Lance and Alexa Mock, Melissa and Natalie Sorsby and Samantha Sorsby; one sister, Opal Laverne Martin of Tulsa, OK; three brothers and sisters-in-laws, Donald and Twana Thomason of Altus, R.E. and Jeannetta Thomason of Eldorado and Willis and Juanice Thomason of Altus; friends, many cousins, nieces, nephews and a special friend, Mike Coulson.
