Obituary for Lon Dale Warren
Lon Dale Warren, Altus resident, passed away peacefully at his home on March 17, 2022, at the age of 58. Arrangements have been placed in the care of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home & Crematory of Altus.
Lon was born on October 28, 1963 in Needmore, Texas to Leion Warren and Martha (Beene) Beale. He grew up in Needmore, but also had roots in the Sudan, Lubbock, and Littlefield areas of Texas prior to moving to Altus, Oklahoma. He completed his general education and joined the workforce. Hemet and married the love of his life, Glennet Flood.
Lon was a jack-of-all-trades. He worked as a mechanic for most of his life, but was also an ordained minister. Lon was passionate about cars and loved building motors, model cars, and go-karts. He also enjoyed mowing and caring for his lawn in his spare time.
Lon was preceded in death by hs father, Leon Warren and his brother, Mark Warren.
Left to embrace his everlasting memory are his wife, Glennet Flood; his mother, Martha Beale; his daughter, Kristi Branch and her husband, Chris of Altus, OK; his son; Aaron Bell of Fort Worth, TX; his brother, Brad Warren of Fort Worth, TX; one sister, Kaye Smith of Altus, OK; his grandchildren: Abbi Chandler, Lilli McNeill, and Braylon Branch; as well as a host of other relatives, including Candice and Cameron Rammage, several neighbors, co-workers and friends.
