Obituary for Lora Jewel Kincannon
Services for Lora Jewel Kincannon, age 82, of Altus, Oklahoma, have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, in the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Ed Lobaugh and Bill Osborne officiating. Interment will follow in the Boggy Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kincannon was born March 15th, 1912 to Mr. and Mrs. Doss Boatright in the Ada area. She married Bob Kincannon October 20, 1929 in Sayre, OK and he preceded her in death, March of 1993. They moved to Olustee where Jewel was a devoted wife to her farmer/rancher husband until their retirement in 1965. She was a member and former officer of the Eastern Star and a devout member of the Elm & Hudson Church of Christ.
Survivors include: two children, Ted Kincannon of Altus, Oklahoma and Geri Watson of Lawton, OK; six grandchildren, Terry David Watson, Gary Kincannon, Rodney Watson, Beverly Leonard, Phyllis Noble and Renate McBain; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Robert E. (Bob) Kincannon, March 17, 1993; two sisters; two brothers.
