Obituary for Lora Roberson
Lora Roberson was born November 27th, 1901 at Lawrence County, Alabama. She died December 4, 1992 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She had been a resident of Jackson County since 1922. She married Jessie Roberson December 19, 1926 at Duke, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death in 1966. She was a long time member of the Duyke Methodist Church.
Services are scheduled for 12 Noon, Monday, at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Everett Smalts officiating. Interment will be in the Rock Cemetery, North of Duke, Oklahoma under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include: three children, Weionda Nelson of Duke, Oklahoma, Ouida Sullivan of Houston, TX and Janice Sutton of Cooper, TX; three sisters, Annie Leverett of Altus, Oklahoma, Edith Thompson of Mangum, OK and Jo Hanna of Altus, OK; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; fivestep-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Jessie Roberson, 1966; three sisters; four brothers.
