Loreda Evelyn (Finley) Parker 78, of Altus died Saturday, March 23, 1991 in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services will be 3 pm Tuesday at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, officiated by the rev. Richard McDole. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home, 100 East Tamarack Road.

Mrs. Parker was born December 20, 1912 in Cherry Texas. At an early age she moved with her family to Ardmore and later to Altus. She married Ted R. Parker in October of 1929 in Altus, where she lived since. She was a charter member (1932) of the Tabernacle Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Parker was a long time member of the Friendship Rebekah Lodge Number 155, where she had held the offices of district Deputy President, Noble Grand, Lodge Deputy and had filled most of the other chairs. She was a Member of the Woodmen of the World Lodge Number 0111.

Mrs. Parker is survived by her children, Ted Finley Parker, Flushing, New York; Mabry Newton Parker, Altus, Oklahoma; Robert Zachary Parker, Lawton, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Deborah Diane Dungy, Sumter, South Carolina; Lynda Renee Kicklighter, Jesup, Georgia; Richard P. Parker, Boston, Mass.; Randall S. Parker, Springfield Mo.; Melody L. Parker, Lawton, Oklahoma; five great grandchildren, John and crystal Dungy, Spring Dove Parker, Stacy and Caleb Kicklighter; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
