Lorene McWhorter Luttrell was born May 20, 1912 in Headrick, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Verda (Whitwell) McWhorter. She died October 20, 2000 at the Carmel Care Healthcare Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Lorene was a graduate of Headrick High School where she earned Valedictorian honors. She married John B. Luttrell and he preceded her in death. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and long time resident of Jackson County.

Survivors include:
1 Daughter Linda and Louis P. Mainer Indianapolis, Indiana 1 Son Larry Luttrell and Jan Denver, Colorado
1 Granddaughter Kim Pickett Indianapolis, Indiana
2 Grandsons Greg Luttrell Denver, Colorado
Todd Luttrell Albany, New York
2 Great grandsons Justin Burger Indianapolis, Indiana Reece Mainer Lincolnton, NC l Granddaughter-in-law Lori Mainer

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and grandson, Marry Mark Mainer..
Services for Lorene Luttrell are scheduled for2;00 PM Tuesday, October 24, 2000 at the Lowell Tims Chapel with Rev. Doug Burr officiating. Interment will follow at the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
