Lou Ormand, 76, resident of Harrah, Oklahoma, passed away on September 26, 2022, at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Lou was born in Sayre, Oklahoma on June 17, 1946, to Bert Guy and Maxine Williams. She married Lloyd Ormand on July 27, 1971, in Altus, Oklahoma. Their loving union was blessed with five wonderful children.
Lou was homemaker where she devoted her life to managing the family's home and caring for her husband and children. In her spare time, Lou enjoyed gardening, photography, decorating and
crafting. Lou was a woman of strong faith and was a dedicated member of the Methodist Church.
She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Lou is preceded in death by her son, Wesley Ormand; her daughters: Misti Lynn White and Mellonie Ann Almaguer; her Son-in-law, Adam Almaguer; and her sisters: Darlene Alvis, Phylllis Jackson and Gerri Lile.
Left to honor her memory is her loving husband of Fifty-one years, Lloyd Ormand, of Harrah, Oklahoma; her son, L.D. Ormand and wife Stephanie of Mangum, Oklahoma; her daughters: Donna Stout and husband Brian of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Shelly Bear and husband Carl Bear of Purcell, Oklahoma; Sisters, Linda Jeffers of Bakersfield, California, Evelyn Allsup of Elko, Nevada, and Annabell McGlothin of San Antonio,Texas; family members: Terry Montgomery of Cawford, Oklahoma and Jerry Montgomery of Crawford, Oklahoma; her beloved Grandchildren: Brennan and Jennifer Morse of Elk City, Oklahoma, Britney and Chris Black of Dill City, Oklahoma, Tyner Banks of Granite, Oklahoma, Devin and Tori Kerbo of Mangum, Oklahoma, Tristan Pineda of Purcell, Oklahoma, Coby Bear, of Purcell, Oklahoma, Trevor and Leslie Ormand, of Mangum,
Oklahoma, Andrew and Chelsea Ormand, of Mangum, Oklahoma, Dillon and Katy Almaguer, of Hobart, Oklahoma, Leslie and Gunner Ewing, of Hollis, Oklahoma; her Great-Grandchildren: Viviann Morse, Lincoln Morse, Hadley Black, Emersen Black, Cooper Kerbo, Cannon Kerbo, Kace Almaguer, Ty Ewing, Sage Ewing, Presleigh Garner, Cody Garner, baby girl Ormand due in March, Isaiah Ormand, Wyatt Ormand; Special relatives, Dee and Carolyn Montgomery, of Crawford, Oklahoma; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends and neighbors.
