Loyd Franklin Neal was born October 31, 1900 at Prairie Grove, Arkansas. He died January 28, 1993 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He married Jessie Canada June 2, 1945 at Lamesa, Texas. He had been a long time resident of Jackson County having resided in the Elmer area for many years before moving to Sulphur, Oklahoma, then moved to Altus where they have resided since 1974. He was a rancher.

Services are scheduled for 2 pm Saturday January 30, 1993 at the Lowell-Tims Chapel with Sonny Tims officiating. Interment will be in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims funeral Home.

Loyd is survived by his wife, Jessie Neal of Altus, Oklahoma; niece, Margaret Clark of Fairfax, Oklahoma.

Preceded in death by his mother and father, three sisters and two brothers.
