Luella Burleson was born February 18, 1901 in Pittsburgh, Texas to9 Willie and Hammie (Heath) Williams. She passed away Friday June 6th, 1969 at her home in Altus, Oklahoma. She had lived in the area for the past 25 years. Her husband Edd Burleson preceded her in death on October 4th, 1943.

Luella is survived by two sisters, Hattie Goodson or Altus, Oklahoma and Ida Burns of Dallas, Texas. Also, two brothers Sammy Lee Rogers of Altus, Oklahoma and Dallas Williams, Phoenix, Arizona. Five Nieces and one nephew.

Services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 10. 1969 at St. Johns Baptist Church. Rev. Eton will officiate. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
