Services are pending for Luella Reid Savage, age 85, former resident of Altus who died Thursday at Saint Francis Hospital in Topeka, Kansas.

Born February 12, 1908 in Altus, she was the daughter of David O. and Kitty Baker Reid. She married James Henry Savage September 19, 1926 at Altus.

Along with being a homemaker she had also worked for the Blair Enterprise Newspaper, Snow Insurance Agency, and was a former City Clerk. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Arrangements are with Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Luella is survived by her daughter, and Wanda Lou Klaver and husband Dick of Topeka, Kansas; brother Craig Reid of Richardson, Texas; sisters Dora Reid Savage of Greenville, Texas; Loree Hatton of Altus, Oklahoma; three grandchildren.

Luella was preceded in death by her husband James Henry Savage (July 29, 1984) parents; brothers; James, David and Donald Reid.
