Lula Caroline Milligan, age, 65, of Altus, Oklahoma died June 11, 1982 in South Community Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Lula was born February 14, 1917 in Konawa, Oklahoma to W. C. and Marie (Wright) Manus. She married Louis Milligan June 9, 1941. He preceded her in death September 23, 1978. Lula had been a resident of Southwest Oklahoma for 34 years.
Funeral services for Lula Caroline Milligan are scheduled for Monday, June 14, 1982 at 10:00 am in the Park Lane Assembly of God Church, Altus, officiated by Rev. Winston Shaffer. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Lula is survived by two sons, Herbert Milligan, Tipton, Oklahoma; Rev Jimmy Milligan, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; four daughters, Betty Lindsey, Electra, Texas; Ruby Ballard, Purcell, Oklahoma; Bonetta Steensgard, Altus, Oklahoma; Rebecca Martin, Blair, Oklahoma; twenty four grandchildren; many great grandchildren; four brothers, Earl Manus, Walnut Grove, California; J. T. Manus, Walnut Grove, California; James Manus, Walnut Grove, California; one sister, Jewell Ward, Olustee, Oklahoma; two nephews, Ronnie and Gene Gifford, Altus, Oklahoma.
