Obituary for Lyda Ethel Knox
Mrs. Ethel Knox, age 85, of 310 E. Walnut and formerly a long time resident of the Navajoe/Headrick Community, died Wednesday night at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services have been set for 2:30 P.M., Friday at Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by the Reverend C. C. Gober. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born August 1st, 1895 in Texas, she was married at Mangum on March 12, 1924 to Frank Knox, who survives of the home. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Additional survivors include: one son, Bill Knox of Headrick; one daughter, Mrs. Patsy Haught of Headrick; one brother, Mr. A. W. Kornegay of Mangum; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Martin of Duke; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
