Lyle Booker age 49, of Eufaula, Oklahoma died February 7, 1967 at his home in Eufaula. He was born July 14, 1917 in Humphreys, Oklahoma. Lyle lived in Humphreys until he moved to Eufaula five years ago. He was a construction worker and veteran of World War II, serving in the Army.
He was a member of the Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge. He married Reesie Jones December 15, 1943.
Funeral services for Lyle Booker are scheduled for 2:00pm February 9, 1967 at the Baptist Church, Headrick, Oklahoma; officiated by Rev. Noel George and Howard Nipper. Burial will follow in the Headrick Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Lyle Booker is survived by his wife Reesie of the home; one son Dewayne of the home; three daughters, Dixie Lee of the home, Melba sue, of the home, Marilyn of the home, father Jack Booker, Headrick, Oklahoma; two brothers, Jeff Booker, Headrick, Oklahoma; Ray Booker, Polstor Montana; two sisters, Mrs. Ann wills, Sacramento, California; Mrs. Julia Kirby, Mesquite, Texas.
