Obituary for Lyle Pershing Tigert
Funeral services have been set for Lyle Pershing Tigert, age 66, of 608 West "A" St., Eldorado, at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday May 28th. Services will be at the Eldorado Church of Christ with Jim King officiating, assisted by Bill Osborne. Burial will be in the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born October 21st, 1918 in Caney, OK, to Edgar A. and Vera Tigert. He married Marjorie Martin August 30, 1941 in Houston, TX. Mr. Tigert was a Veteran of World War II and was a long time farmer and rancher in the Eldorado community.
Survivors include: his wife, Marjorie Martin Tigert of the home; two sons, Gary Tigert of Ardmore, OK and Joe Tigert of Burkburnett, TX; two brothers, Fred Tigert of Duke, OK and Keller Tigert of Davenport, OK; one sister, Mrs. Pauline Bynum of Crockett, TX; three grandchildren.
