Obituary for Mable Ruth Rutledge
Mable Ruth Rutledge, age 78, passed away November 21, 2004 at Norman Regional Hospital. She was born December 21, 1925 to Joseph Laffated and Ida Mae (Ward) Beauchamp in Clarksville, Texas.
Mable married Reginald E. Rutledge . He preceded her in death July 3, 1988.
Mable enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She is survived by three sons, Johnnie Rutledge and wife Jackie of Altus, Oklahoma, Joe Rutledge of Norman, Oklahoma, and Gary Rutledge of Edmond, Oklahoma; three sisters, Ruby Omealy of Ozark, Alabama, Zona Farmer of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Odessa Mills of Altus, Oklahoma; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Reginald E. Rutledge and three brothers.
Graveside service will be held Friday, November 26, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altus City Cemetery, with Bud Adkins officiating. Under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
