Maggie Blake Collier age 77 of Altus, Oklahoma passed away October 17, 1965 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She was born July 21, 1888 in Cedar Town, Georgia to J.B. and Mattie (Price) Singleton. Maggie moved to southwest Oklahoma about the time of statehood. She married John A. Blake and he preceded her in death September 8, 1945. Maggie and J.H. Collier were married May 18m 1948. She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Maggie Blake Collier are scheduled for October 19, 1965 at 2:00pm in the Tims Chapel with T.O. Parson officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Maggie Blake Collier is survived by her husband J.H. of the home in Altus; one daughter, Mrs. Paul Parsons, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild; one brother John Singleton, Riverside, California; two sisters, Mrs. O.D. Gentry, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Mrs. D.S. Hall, Dallas, Texas; One son J.B. preceded her in death, July 25, 1954.
