Malinda Horton age 99, of Altus, Oklahoma died July 10. 1982 at the Altus House Nursing Home, in Altus.

Malinda was born December 31, 1881 in Carthage, Texas. She married Nathan Horton in 1900. Nathan preceded her in death in 1972.

Graveside services for Malinda Horton are scheduled for Wednesday, July 12, 1982 at 10:am in Altus Cemetery , officiated by Willie Nelson, burial is under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Malinda is survived by a daughter, Odessa Merriot, Los Angles, California; George Horton, Chicago, Ill. thirteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
