Obituary for Mamie Blackstone
Mamie Blackstone died December 24, 1979 at the English Village Nursing Home in Altus, Oklahoma. Funeral services were 10:00 am Thursday, December 27, 1979 in Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Wiginton and REv. Carl McCoy officiating.

Mamie was born May 24, 1902 in Lone Oak, Oklahoma to parents John N and Jeannie (Patterson) Schnorrenberg. They moved to Altus when she was a small girl. She married Grady Blackstone June 30, 1923 and he preceded her in death May 27, 1975. Mamie was associated with her husband in the Blackstone Plumbing and Farm Supply. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Mamie Blackstone is survived by her daughter, Mrs Billy Leah Burke of Mt View, California; four grandchildren, Joy Toner, William Grady Burke, Niki Jan Burke, all of Longview, Washington and Tommy Blackstone II Paris Texas; great grandson, James Toner also of Longview, Washington.
