Obituary for Mamie Lawson
Mamie Lawson was born June 11, 1918 at Wanette, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late Nathan and Martha Ollison. She died May 31, 1995 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She had been a resident of Altus and Jackson County since 1950.
Mamie married Alvie Lawson June 26, 1934 at Purcell, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God.
Mamie is survived by her children; L.V. Lawson and his wife Molly of Altus, Will Lawson and his wife Jacqueline of North Carolina, Charles Lawson and his wife Susan of Arkansas and Melvin Lawson and his wife Doreen of Vernon, Texas. She is also survived by one brother, Bill Kiser of Wanette, Oklahoma, and ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs Lawson was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one grandson, Eddie Lawson and two brothers.
