Obituary for Manuel Silva
Manuel Silva, age 63, was born December 6, 1930 in Stockton, California. Mr. Silva passed away Tuesday, October 18th, 1994, in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 20, 1994, in the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. T.D. Gifford officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
On February 2, 1892, he and Janet Gifford were united in marriage in Vernon, TX. Manuel was a heavy equipment operator for the Republic Gypsum for many years. He was a hardworking gentleman who loved sports.
Survivors include: his wife, Janet Silva of the home; four children, Katherine Manolatos of Joliet, IL, Nina Silva, Theresa Locke and husband David and David Miller and wife Penny, all of Altus, Oklahoma; one brother, Tony Silva; nine grandchildren; one niece, Toni Lagrimas of Stockton, CA.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; one sister, Elaine Manning.
