Margaret Elizabeth Ethridge died October 2nd, 1982 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She was born April 14, 1894 in Clarksville,, Arkansas to Porter and Martha Morgan Jumper. Margaret married Carl Leroy Etheridge September 9, 1909 in Chico, Texas. He preceded her in death December 10, 1962 after 53 years of marriage. She belonged to the First Christian Church in Altus, Oklahoma and had been a resident of the area since 1920.

Margaret is survived by four children: Maureen Ellis of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Vincent Ellis Ethridge and Neil Ellis Ethridge both of Altus, Oklahoma and Howard Ellis Ethridge of Cardova, Tennessee. Also Surviving are eight Grandchildren (seven living), thirteen Great Grandchildren and one Great, Great Grandchild.

Services for Margaret Elizabeth Ethridge will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 4th, 1982 at Tims Chapel of Memories with Rev. C. L. Abercrombie officiating and Rev. Noel George assisting. Burial will follow at the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
