Margarita Flores, 88, resident of Altus, Oklahoma passed away December 26, at English Village Nursing Home in Altus, Oklahoma.
Margarita was born on June 10, 1930 in Sweetwater, Texas to Felix Flores and Nicolasa Hernandez Flores. She moved to Altus, Oklahoma in 1973.
Margarita enjoyed mexican music and shopping. She was a loving and caring woman who always put her children and grandchildren first. She truly enjoyed helping people.
She was preceded in death by her parents Felix and Nicholas Flores, her brothers; Raymond Flores, Manuel Flores, Frank Flores, Pedro Flores, sister; Hope Estrada, and her son Johnnie Alvarado.
Margarita is survived by Children; Hortencia Rivera of Fort Worth, Texas, Ray Garcia and Wife Michelle of Altus, Oklahoma, Mary Guzman and Joe Solomon of Altus, Oklahoma and Beatrice Moncado of Altus, Oklahoma
Grandchildren; Stephanie Moncada, Tiffany Raiden, Earnest Moncada Jr., Marie Euceda and husband Miguel Euceda, Alcario Guzman, Roy Guzman, Linda Guzman, Harold Flores, Preston Flores, Johnny Ray Alvarado, Nicole Alvarado and Linda Carroll; Brothers; Steve and Lily Flores of Altus, Oklahoma, Felix Flores Jr. of San Angelo, Texas; Sisters; Juanita Flores of Altus, Oklahoma, Paula Ledesma of Elsa, Texas, Mary Garza of Denton, Texas. Forty great grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
There will be a rosary at 6:00p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Lowell - Tims Funeral Home Chapel in Altus, Oklahoma.
Funeral Service is 11:00 a.m. Monday December 31, 2018 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Altus, Oklahoma.
Interment will follow at Restlawn Cemetery in Altus, Oklahoma.
