Obituary for Margarito (Mark) Chavez Sr.
Services for Margarito "Mark" Chavez, Sr. are scheduled for 10:00am Tuesday, April 3, 2001 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Jacobi officiating. Interment will follow in the Tipton Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held at 7:00pm Monday at the Tipton Funeral Home Chapel in Tipton, Oklahoma.
Mark was born October 12, 1947 and passed away April 1, 2001. He was raised in Tipton, Oklahoma and graduated from Tipton High School. Mark had worked for PSO for many years and was currently working for Wrights Packing Plant. He was a Catholic and was a member of the Classic Car Club in Hobart, Oklahoma.
Mark is survived by Dorothy ; his children, Christy Chavez, Mark Chavez Jr., Rachel Rivas, David Chavez and Alexandria Chavez Deleon, all of Frederick, Oklahoma, Paula Chavez and Selna Chavez of Lone Wolf; step-children, Michael Sargeant, Cody Newton, Mary bernal, all of Lone Wolf, Oklahoma; brothers and sisters, Paula Reyes, Mary Hernandez, Rosa Surra, Ramon Chavez, Connie Balderos, all of Tipton, Dominga Jizenez of Alts, Janie Lucy Cacies, Olga Gonzoles, Irene Gonzoles, and Emma Zunega. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Justin Chavez, Savannah Chavez and brandon Rivas.
