Obituary for Marilyn Gale Eldridge
Marilyn Gale eldridge, age 85, died Monday, May 26, 2008 after having a stroke. She was born February 4, 1923 at Carter, Oklahoma to Hugh Leslie and Mary Florence (Smith) Bullard. She attended school in Duke, Oklahoma.
Marilyn Gale married Paul Junior Eldridge in 1941. Paul and Marilyn were married almost 64 years. They lived in Jackson County. They had lived in Colorado, California and several different towns in Oklahoma including Muldrow and Yukon. She had attended Good News Church in Yukon and had been a member of Eastern Star in Duke, Oklahoma.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul, her parents, two brothers and five sisters. Survivors include one son Phillip Eldridge and wife Paula of Garden Grove, California; one daughter, Loretta Sederstrom of Cypress, California; five grandchildren, Phillip Jr., Toni Kimberly, Tamara and Matthew; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at Rock Cemetery, north of Duke, Oklahoma with David Stewart officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
