Obituary for Marisue Hurley
Marisue Hurley was born April 19, 1925 at Mena, Ark. She was the daughter of the late Roy L. and Florence (Steele) Mount. She died May 9, 1999 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She married Gil Hurley in January 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1978.

She resided in Altus and Jackson County most of her life. She retired as Secretary of the Jackson Election Board after 17 years. She was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include four children; Mike Hurley of Altus, Oklahoma; Susan and Steve Tinkle of Thomas, Oklahoma; Nancy and John Horschler of Altus, Oklahoma; Jan and Don Wills of Altus, Oklahoma; one brother Roy L. Mount Jr. of Norman, Oklahoma; one sister Nan Windle of Altus, Oklahoma; five grandchildren Jay Paul Hurley, Kristi Horschler, Kevin Tinkle, Timothy Wills, and Lisa Wills.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gil and her parents.

Services are scheduled for 2 pm Tuesday May 11, 1999 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Pate officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
