Obituary for Martha Olson
Funeral Services for Martha Olson, age 77, of Victory, OK, are scheduled for Monday, 11:00 a.m., October 19th 1992 at the Duke Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Victory Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home. Rev. Ginny Hathaway will officiate.
Mrs. Olson died Friday, October 16th, 1992 after an extended illness. She was born March 28, 1915 in Seymour, Texas to Thomas and Lillie Spraggins. She came to this area in 1926 and on September 1, 1934 she married George Olson in Duke. During her life she had worked as a clerk in numerous children's clothing stores. She was a graduate of Porter High School, a member of the Duke Methodist Church. The family of Mrs. Olson will be receiving friends at the funeral home, Sunday evening from the hours of 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Survivors include: her husband, George Olson of the home; four children, Mary Elizabeth Jacobs of Windthorst, TX, Elmeda Payne of Duke, OK, Jimmy Olson of Willis, TX and Phil Olson of Altus, OK; two sisters, Winnie Lee Garrison of Altus, OK and Betty Joyce Atchison of Anaheim, CA; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; two brothers.
