Funeral Services for Mary Almeda Springer, age 88, lifelong resident of Eldorado, Oklahoma, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 1996 at the Eldorado Church of Christ. Burial will follow at the Eldorado Cemetery. Duane Springer and Bill Osborne will officiate.
Mrs. Springer passed away October 29, 1996 in Altus, Oklahoma. She was born March 14th, 1908 in Eldorado to W. Lester and Irva (Dunham) Taylor. Mary married E.W. Springer in Eldorado on December 24, 1925.
Mrs. Springer was a homemaker and a member of the Eldorado Church of Christ. The body will lie in state at the Eldorado Funeral Chapel. Lowell Tims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include: nine children, Norma Bradford of Arlington, TX, W. R. Springer of Pensacola, FL, LaVerne Merket of Burns Flat, OK, Dorothy Little of Boerne, TX, Joyce Gist of Ft. Gibson, OK, Wayne Springer of Tulsa, OK, Kenneth Springer of Eldorado, OK, Melvin Springer of Alvarado, TX, Donna Springer of Bedford, TX; a sister, Georgia Odom of Eldorado, Oklahoma; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren'; 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, E.W. Springer; one daughter, Naomi Springer; one sister, Effie Johnston; and one brother, Riley Taylor.
