Obituary for Mary Beth Moore
Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Moore, 81, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012.

Beth was born March 13, 1931 at Prairie Hill, Jackson County, Oklahoma to Roy and Lera (Blair) Pool. She graduated from Duke High School in 1949 and married Hobby Killingsworth in July of that year. He preceded her in death in June of 1973.

She later married John H. Moore in June of 1974 and he preceded her in death in 1996.

Beth worked in the Jackson County Treasurers office for 18 years before retiring as the County Treasurer in 1991. She had lived most of her life in Jackson County.

She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved to cook and share the things she cooked with her family and friends. Beth had many friends and will be remember for the sweet lady she has always been.

Beth is survived by her son, Kim, one grandson, Kory and one granddaughter, Kenze, as well as one nephew, Mac Churchill.

Services have been scheduled for 10:00 am Thursday, October 4th at the First Baptist Church of Duke with Keith Gilliam officiating. Burial will follow in the Prairie Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday evening from 6:30 - 7:30 at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
