Obituary for Mary D. Starling
Mary D. Starling, age 78, passed away Saturday morning at the Huntsville Memorial Hospital in Huntsville, TX, following a long illness. Services are set for today at 2:00 P.M. at the Macedonia Baptist Church. Officiating at the service will be Reverend Theron Booker. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Freedom Funeral Chapel and Lowell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Starling was born May 1st, 1918 in Huntsville, TX to Larry and Harriett Doggins. She married Grady Starling in February of 1969. She united with the Baptist Church at an early age. She moved to Oklahoma in the 40's, united with the Macedonia Baptist Church and sung in the choir. Later she united with the Sunset Baptist Church, served as Vice President of Missionary Society and President of the choir.

She is survived by her husband, Grady of the home; step-son, Wayne and Betty Starling and Terry Starling of Oklahoma City; step-daughter, Thelma Jean Starling of Ft. Worth, TX; three sisters; one brother; and cousins John and James Kibble of Snyder, OK, Dorothy Ruth Kibble of Lawton, OK, Hattie Taylor, Walter, Cynthia Brown of Huntsville, TX.
