Mary Ellen Glover , age 91, of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away March 3rd, 1998 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She was born January 22nd, 1907 in Seymour, Texas to the late Henry J. and Maggie (Hughens) White. On July 1, 1948 she and Tom B. Glover were united in marriage at Vernon, TX. He preceded her in death in 1970. She had lived in Altus for over 70 years. She was a Homemaker and a long time member of the Ruth Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church in Altus.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Sonny Tims officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, James W. Tucker, Jr. and his wife Norma of Houston, TX; one sister, Mrs. Leona Deberry of Renton, WA; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one nephew, Dwight Dennis of Altus, Oklahoma; and a sister-in-law, Leona White of Altus, Oklahoma.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tom B. Glover; and one brother, Troy White.
