Obituary for Mary Etta Southall
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Southall have been set for 3:00 P.M., Sunday (today) at the Blair High School Cafetorium. J. V. McElroy, pastor of Blair Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in Blair cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Southall died at 12:10 A.M., Friday morning at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital of a heart attack.
Born May 19th, 1881, in the state of Tennessee, she later moved to Texas and on April 13, 1904 was married to William A. Southall, in Lingleville, Texas. Shortly thereafter they moved to the Blair area and she had resided at the present home since 1910. Mr. Southall preceded her in death in December 1929.
Survivors include: five sons, Windle Southall, Payton Southall and Luke Southall of Blair, Cecil Southall of Madera, CA and Alva Southall of Oklahoma City; seven daughters, Mrs. Clara Inzer and Mrs. Effie Winters of Blair, Mrs. Elizabeth Kelly, Mrs. Oleta Haynes and Mrs. Vera Watson of Altus, Mrs. Doyle Norton of Mira Loma, CA and Mrs. Nellie Markham of San Juan Capistrano, CA.
