Obituary for Mary Gertrude Hayes
Mary G. Hayes age 90, of Altus, passed away March 18, 2001 at the English Village Nursing Home. Graveside services, are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home are set for 2:00 pm Wednesday at the Altus City Cemetery. Bill Osborne will officiate.

Mary was born August 28, 1910 in Paris, Texas to parents J. B. and Dovie McKee. She married Hubert E. Hayes in 1946. They enjoyed many years together. He preceded her in death in 1990. Mary was an active lady and served as a homemaker for many years. She enjoyed working in the outdoors and taking drives through the mountains. Mary was also a member of the Thomas Street Church of Christ.

She is survived by granddaughters, Gayle Palmertree of Altus and Cynthia Munday; great-grandchildren, Michael Corcoran and Louis Nagel; nephew, Buddy McKee and wife Lou of Altus and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert' her son, Bobbie L. James and one grand-daughter Pamela Corcoran.
