Mary Laverne crow age 77, former Warren, Oklahoma resident passed away Thursday, March 10, 2005 in Arkansas.

She was born July 2, 1926 in McGregor, Texas to George E. Smith and Minnie (Pruitt) Smith.

On October 21, 1946 in Sparks, Nevada Nevada Mary Laverne and Francis Lavern "Bud" Crow were united in marriage. He preceded her in death September 17, 1988.

Laverne owned and operated a beauty shop in Altus for many years, through this business she met many new friends and she truly cherished their friendship.

She was a longtime member of the Warren Baptist Church.

Laverne is survived by her son , Jack Crow of Elk City, Oklahoma; two grandchildren Marc Crow and Melissa Sutton; three sisters Christine Fuson of Waldron, Arkansas, Lou Ousted of Arlington, Texas and Jane Fuller of Grand Prairie, Texas and two brothers Raymond Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada and Alvin Smith of Mesquite, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dud Crow, son Mike Crow; five brothers and sisters.

Services are scheduled Monday, March 14, 2005 at 10:00 am at the Warren Baptist Church with Rev. Leonard Fuson and Rev. Dennis Osborne officiating. Interment will follow at the Warren Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends Sunday, March 13, 2005 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
