Mrs. Mary Lee Cole, age 87, Box 128, Duke, OK, died September 21st at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Duke Methodist Church, with Sanford Wylie officiating and assisted by Everett Shumaker. Burial will be in the Gould Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cole was born on May 5th, 1899 in Belles, Texas and she was married to Jessie E. Cole on December 10, 1916 in Achilee, OK. She was a long time resident of Duke. She was a member of the Eastern Star and various church organizations as well as the Methodist Church.
Survivors include: her husband, Jessie of the home in Duke; three sons, Floyd E. of Dumas, TX, Herman A. of Plainview, TX and Jessie E. Jr. of Lubbock, TX; four daughters, Ruby Waitsman of Phoenix, AZ, Opal R. Daugherty of Tulsa, OK, Ann Grant of Southgate, CA and Lucrecia Hanna of Amarillo, TX; eight grandsons; six granddaughters; 15 great grandchildren.
A brother, James C. Cole preceded her in death in 1944.
